Your role
As aAI Expert China, your mission is to define and execute the AI strategy for our China organization, delivering measurable business outcomes through applied AI, intelligent automation, and data-driven products tailored to China’s operating context. You will report toIT Business Partner China
You will
China AI Strategy & Use-Case Portfolio- Define the China AI roadmap aligned to business priorities and the enterprise AI strategy, with clear value cases, sequencing, and adoption targets.
- Identify and deliver high-impact AI and automation use cases that reflect China market dynamics (speed-to-market, channel/commercial models, and customer expectations).
- Build and lead a China-based AI team (product, data science/engineering, automation, and enablement), developing local talent and ways of working that fit China delivery rhythms.
- Manage China vendor/partner landscape (local cloud, AI tooling, system integrators), balancing speed and innovation with risk, cost, and architectural fit.
- Partner with China business process owners to redesign workflows and embed AI into day-to-day operations (e.g., finance, supply chain, sales, customer service).
- Integrate AI solutions with China’s core systems and digital channels where relevant (e.g., local messaging/commerce ecosystems), while maintaining clean interfaces to global platforms.

- 5+ years in IT/data/AI roles; track record delivering AI products or automation at scale in China
- Strong understanding of China’s AI and digital ecosystem, including localization needs, vendor landscape, and ways of working
- Hands-on knowledge of the AI/ML lifecycle (data, modeling, evaluation, deployment/monitoring) and intelligent automation; comfortable working with both global and China-local platforms
- Experience designing solutions within China security, privacy, and data residency expectations; able to translate requirements into pragmatic controls
- Strong stakeholder management across China business and global teams; effective vendor management and commercial acumen
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; able to lead change, drive adoption, and communicate complex AI topics clearly to non-technical audiences
