AI Utilization Program Analyst
Bachelor's plus 6+ years (or +4 years experience in lieu), active Secret clearance and US citizenship, hands-on experience with modern AI platforms, data handling, workflow automation, stakeholder engagement, and secure computing practices.
SAIC is seeking a AI Utilization Program Analystlocated at Camp Smith in Hawaiito support USPACOMto accelerate the adoption of modern AI platforms and automation tools across exercise planning and divisional management, to include, understanding high-level pain points, and translate emerging AI and automation capabilities into practical, day-to-day workflow improvements to create faster, smarter exercise planning and more efficient division management through responsible, hands-on AI adoption.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Serve as the division's primary advisor and enabler for AI platform adoption, translating complex operational needs into practical, AI-supported workflows.
- Identify high-value opportunities where Generative AI, large language models, and automation tools can reduce manual effort in exercise planning, scenario development, documentation, and data gathering.
- Evaluate, pilot, and recommend commercial and government AI platforms and automation tools, assessing fit, security posture, and ease of adoption for non-technical users.
- Build and deliver hands-on training, demonstrations, and reference materials that help planners and division staff confidently use AI tools in their daily work.
- Develop lightweight automations, prompt workflows, and integrations that connect existing data sources and tools to streamline planning and reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, manage change, and drive measurable adoption across the division.
- Establish best practices and guardrails for responsible, secure AI use, ensuring alignment with organizational and cybersecurity policies.
- Track and report adoption metrics and efficiency gains to division leadership to inform continued investment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s and six (6)+ years of experience; additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience applying modern AI platforms to real-world operational problems.
- Working knowledge of data handling, workflow automation, and integrating tools and data sources.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, actionable workflows for non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of working directly with stakeholders and leadership to drive adoption.
- Familiarity with secure computing environments and adherence to cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Self-directed problem solver comfortable operating across both technical and operational domains.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or quantitative field. (Use w/e degree level you'd like)
- Experience implementing AI/ML or GenAI solutions in defense, intelligence, or other mission-focused environments.
- Familiarity with AI orchestration and automation frameworks (e.g., agent-based workflows, LangChain/LangGraph, Model Context Protocol), vector databases, and RAG systems.
- Experience standing up or supporting MLOps/automation platforms and CI/CD-style processes.
- Prior experience leading adoption, training, or change-management efforts for new technology in an organization.
- Background supporting exercise planning, wargaming, or operational planning activities.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
